Gladys Gamah is the Head Nurse and Clinical Manager of the Oworobong Clinic. Gladys is a graduate of the Nahr Bita Nursing School in Tema, Ghana. She was the first recipient of The Rohde Foundation’s scholarship program to train rural students to become health care providers for their home communities. Her vision for health care in the rural areas of Ghana is unique, and her commitment to providing health care to those in need is sure as stone. Glady’s continues to lead nurses, community workers, and volunteers both at the Oworobong Clinic and beyond, providing health care to over 50,000 villagers who previously had none.
